Amor y Vida

Faith grows when families walk together.

Amor y Vida is a journey of faith for Latino teens and their parents or caregivers—an experience designed to strengthen relationships, open meaningful conversations, deepen faith, and help families recognize God's presence in everyday life.

Youth and parents journey together through Scripture, prayer, dialogue, parish gatherings, experiences at home, and moments of celebration.

The goal is not to give families more information about faith. It is to help them live it—together.

A Journey Shared by Adolescents and Parents

Because faith formation doesn't happen in isolation. Parents have an irreplaceable role in the faith lives of their children. At the same time, teens need space to discover, question, express, and make faith their own.

Amor y Vida brings those two journeys together.

Adolescents are not simply brought to a program by their parents. Parents are not simply asked to support a youth program from the sidelines. They become co-pilgrims. Together they listen, talk, pray, create, reflect, and discover new ways of sharing faith as a family.

Culture Is Part of the Journey

Faith is lived within families, languages, traditions, memories, celebrations, music, food, stories, and relationships. Amor y Vida recognizes the richness and complexity of Latino family life, including the experience of families navigating different generations, languages, and cultures. Rather than asking families to leave those realities outside the formation process, Amor y Vida brings them into the conversation.

Our culture. Our stories. Our families. Our faith.
