National Catholic Leadership Program (PNL)

A week that forms leaders for a lifetime.
Each summer, pastoral leaders from across the United States and beyond gather at a university or institute of higher learning for an intensive week of formation, prayer, community, leadership development, and mission.
The National Catholic Leadership Program (PNL, by its Spanish acronym) brings together young adults, youth ministers, catechists, musicians, parents, religious, clergy, and pastoral leaders through specialized formation pathways designed to respond to the emerging needs of the Church.
More than a formation week, the PNL is an experience of encuentro, faith, and community—a place where leaders learn and pray together, build lasting relationships, and return to their communities renewed and prepared to serve.
At the heart of PNL is the Symposium on Pastoral Juvenil Hispana, Fe y Vida’s flagship summer formation experience. Each year, the Symposium forms those who serve adolescents and young adults to become Profetas de Esperanza—Prophets of Hope and missionary disciples—deeply rooted in faith, connected to the lived realities and cultures of Latino communities, and equipped to accompany new generations of young Catholics.
